I am a huge Lucy Dacus fan! Last summer, I saw her in concert on a farm in Washinton, and it was almost definitely the best concert I have ever been to. No Burden is my definitive favorite album (despite the fact that it may be one of the saddest albums ever).
Big Thief is one of my all time favorite artists. They seem to blend funny bops (like Spud Infinity) seamlessly with introspective songs like Change, both in the same album. Their new album, Double Infinity was a quick favorite, and there are zero skips throughout their entire discography.
Aliceband is a super interesting band. The lead singer, Alice Walker (no, not that Alice Walker), mixes jazzy rythms and instruments with a more pop-focused overall sound. Their self titled album is the most new-listener friendly, but there are some deep cuts I like such as red river.
Fleet Foxes is my background music. I love to put on an album while reading or finishing my home work. There are some "bangers," like Mykonos, but they are mainly a very chill band.
